I did this painting over the summer when I completely reversed my sleep schedule again and wasn't working much. Also, listening to Andrew W.K. songs on repeat and studying the album cover helped a bit. I'm pretty pleased with how the blood turned out, but not so much the hair. Too flat. Meh. The hair and blood were done in gouache, the face done in gouache and watercolour, and the background and darker areas were done in ink. I've been considering going in and reworking a few areas.
